About Us
A clear, practical approach
A clear, practical approach
Our approach is straightforward, collaborative, and built around your individual situation.
We believe better decisions come from clarity, not complexity.
Helping individuals & business owners create financial clarity, personal wellbeing and confidence for later life.
Four steps to clearer decisions
Every conversation follows the same simple path. Select each step to see what happens and what you get from it.
We start with you, not your money
The first conversation is about your life, your business and what you actually want the future to look like. No products, no jargon, no assumptions, just honest questions and careful listening.
We turn the fog into a clear picture
Together we define what "enough" looks like for you, where the gaps are, and which decisions genuinely matter. Most people find this stage alone lifts a weight because uncertainty is usually heavier than reality.
We build a practical plan around your goals
A straightforward plan of action, in plain English, aligned with your business and personal life. Where regulated financial advice, legal support or tax planning is needed, we work with your existing advisers or introduce trusted specialists.
We keep the plan alive as life changes
Businesses evolve, families grow, goals shift. Regular reviews make sure your plan still reflects what you want, so you stay in control with clarity, confidence and purpose.
People at every stage of the journey
Business Owners
From growth years to exit and succession, we help you connect the success of the business with the life you're building beyond it.
Company Directors
Greater clarity and confidence around how personal financial goals align with the responsibilities and pressures of the role.
Accountants & Advisers
We complement, never duplicate, professional advice, adding the personal, human side of financial decision-making for your clients.
Planning Consultant & Financial Educator
Neil's journey has been anything but conventional. Follow the ports of call below, each one shaped the way he works today.
An unconventional start
At a young age, Neil left the UK and spent 11 years living and working overseas, sailing around the Mediterranean and working in hospitality across Malta, Australia, New Zealand and the United States, playing rugby wherever he lived. It taught him that a rich life is measured in experiences, not just numbers.
Coming home
Returning to Wales in 1999, Neil began building a career in financial services, bringing with him a global perspective and a firm belief that money is a tool for living, not a scoreboard.
The lesson from 25+ years of advising
As a qualified Financial Adviser working with individuals, business owners, accountants and solicitors, Neil discovered the most valuable conversations were rarely about financial products. They were about what clients wanted to achieve and how their wealth could help them live the life they wanted.
Why Wellbeing & Later Life exists
That insight led to the creation of his Planning Consultancy: helping clients gain clarity, confidence and direction before any financial solutions are considered. Today, Neil combines extensive financial services experience with a practical, people-focused approach.
"Helping people understand what their wealth is for, before deciding what to do with it."

- We do not provide legal or tax advice ourselves
Our aim is simple: to help you make informed decisions with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.
Answers before you ask
No. We do not provide regulated financial advice. Where appropriate, we work with qualified professionals to ensure clients receive the correct advice for their circumstances. Our role is to bring clarity and direction before and alongside that advice.
Never. We complement professional advisers by focusing on the personal side of decision-making. Many of our best relationships are with accountants and solicitors whose clients benefit from a clearer sense of purpose behind their planning.
Relaxed, honest and jargon-free. We talk about your business, your life and what "enough" looks like for you. There's no obligation and nothing to sign, just a chance to see whether some clarity would help.
